Professional Boundaries & Communication

The Wright Mindset is committed to maintaining clear professional boundaries in order to provide safe, ethical, and effective psychological support.

Establishing appropriate boundaries helps ensure that services remain professional, respectful, and beneficial for all individuals involved.

Communication Outside Sessions

Communication outside of scheduled sessions is generally limited to administrative matters, including:

  • booking or rescheduling appointments

  • sharing resources discussed during sessions

  • responding to service enquiries

Communication outside sessions is not intended to provide ongoing psychological support or coaching.

Responses to messages will typically be provided during normal working hours and may not be immediate.

Appropriate Communication Channels

Communication may take place through agreed channels such as:

  • email

  • approved messaging platforms such as Whatsapp

  • scheduled video calls for sessions

Personal social media messaging is not used for client communication.

Emergency or Crisis Situations

The Wright Mindset does not provide emergency or crisis support.

If you require urgent psychological or medical support, you should contact appropriate services such as:

  • your GP

  • NHS 111

  • Samaritans (116 123)

  • emergency services (999)

Respectful Communication

All communication should remain respectful and appropriate.

The Wright Mindset reserves the right to end communication or discontinue services if behaviour is considered inappropriate, abusive, or outside the scope of professional practice.
